The SO-G Product Line

At SO-G Tech, innovation scales with you

Research Product Line

The Research Line aims to bridge the gap between table top, research experiments to proof of concept. Each lab scale device is perfect for each of these stages.

The Single cell is equipped with the full monitoring system, has a maximum capacity of 4L and is perfect for any bench top experiments.

Utilising the SO-G UI, the Triple cell has a maximum capacity of 17 Litres and is the ideal device for scaling your bench top experiments to full research cases.

460 million metric tons of plastic were produced, only 0.5% was created from Bio based processes.

36 cell Photo bio Reactor is the last step in taking your research experiments to proof of concept getting it out there and into the field available in 120-240 litres.

SO-G serpent system is perfect for scaling and pilot sites focused on at source capture, waste water treatment and bio mass production.

SO-G Tech aims to enable the algal industry to scale and expand for both research and commercial application, providing the tools to create the necessary framework to take algae into the mainstream.

In 2024:

Over 326 billion litres of jet fuel was produced only 0.3% was from sustainable sources.

More than 195.5 metric tonnes of fertiliser was produced, Only 3% was created from organic sources.

Commercial Product Line

Our air-lift photobioreactor systems are designed for high-efficiency cultivation and continuous operation in a range of industrial and environmental settings. The system uses a vertical column with controlled air circulation to provide uniform mixing, stable growth conditions, and high gas transfer efficiency. This makes it ideal for large-scale biomass generation, flue gas integration, and on-site treatment processes where full oversight and reliability key.

Each unit operates with a hybrid lighting system that blends natural sunlight with adaptive LEDs to maintain consistent growth, gas absorption, and performance throughout the day, across seasons. This intelligent balance of lighting, efficient mixing, and modular scalability creates a dependable, low-maintenance platform for stable, year-round operation and seamless integration into existing or new site deployments.

Our serpent photobioreactor systems are built for continuous, scalable operation across both industrial and environmental processes. The coiled flow path maximises gas–liquid contact, making the system effective for the utilisation of flue gas streams and equally suitable for wastewater treatment, where nutrient recovery and biological polishing are required. The modular design allows additional reactors to be connected seamlessly, enabling flexible expansion and greater processing capacity without major infrastructure changes.
